The SYFC CCA allows Secondary School students who are interested in the field of aviation to participate in a variety of aeromodelling programmes and other aviation-related activities.
Students can also experience joyrides on RSAF aircraft such as the C-130, Fokker 50, H225M and CH-47, as well as the SYFC DA40 under the Flying Experience Programme (FEP).
There are two ways that students can join the SYFC CCA – (1) students may apply directly to SYFC, and (2) students enrolled in Secondary Schools with the SYFC CCA in-house can apply directly through their schools.
For interested students from Secondary Schools, they may apply to join our CCA programme conducted at SYFC on Saturday mornings.
Apply nowIn 2001, SYFC in collaboration with MOE, implemented a CCA programme in secondary schools for students aged 12 to 16 years to learn about flying through aviation knowledge, simulator flying and aeromodelling activities.
There are 18 secondary schools participating in our CCA programmes. Students from these schools may apply for the SYFC CCA through their Schools.
